About The Opportunity

Programmed’s Property Services department is currently looking for a Grounds Maintenance Operative - Parks and Gardens to join our open space team. This is an opportunity to be part of an excellent team that provides grounds maintenance, gardening and development across multiple sites in the Illawarra and Shoalhaven Regions, where you will be responsible for the overall upkeep and improvement of the grounds and gardens.

Nature of position: Full-Time

Location: Illawarra / Shoalhaven

Reporting line: Branch Manager

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure the sites are always maintained and presented at a high standard
• Pruning and shaping across the grounds
• Operate a range of mowers and other small plant equipment
• Weed & pest control – spraying and manual weeding
• Ensure compliance of all occupational health and safety processes and procedures

About You

To join our team, you will have previous experience in horticultural maintenance with any qualifications being highly regarded, with a passion to provide quality work and a strong commitment to the safety of yourself and others. Additionally, you will have

• Current OH&S Whitecard
• Current driver's license 
• Current working with children’s check
• Demonstrate a professional approach to the workplace
• Execute work that is of a high standard
• A strong commitment to and understanding of quality, environmental, occupational health, and safety management systems.
