About The Opportunity
We are looking for a Social Inclusion Officer to assist our social housing client, local communities, and government/non-government agencies in providing educational and employment pathways. This role aims to create opportunities for individuals from diverse backgrounds as part of a significant social housing contract. This permanent, full time role based in Wagga Wagga, plays a crucial part in cultivating our diverse and inclusive culture and contributing to important services for the community.
Key responsibilities
- Support Social Inclusion Strategy and processes.
- Maintain knowledge on social inclusion initiatives and foster key relationships.
- Assist initiatives for Programmed’s First Nations Engagement strategy.
- Champion social inclusion initiatives across the Business.
- Implement materials for diversity days and promote diversity and mental health initiatives.
- Collaborate with customers to develop social inclusion plans/projects.
- Oversee timely reporting on talent, development, engagement, diversity, and mental health metrics.
- Contribute to HR Strategic Plan implementation and client Monthly Reports.

About You
To be successful in this role, you will ideally have social work experience, or similar, transferrable skills. You will have a ‘can-do’ attitude, natural ability for people engagement and strong community connections.
Additionally, you will demonstrate and possess the following:
- Highly developed communication and robust stakeholder engagement ability
- Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain networks and partnerships
- Intermediate Microsoft Office Suite skills (MS Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc)
