About The Opportunity

Programmed Facility Management are seeking experienced Cleaning Supervisor to join our Village Management Team. This is an excellent opportunity to be a part of an essential team that provides soft services such as Village Management, Catering, Transport, Cleaning and Utility services to a well-known Mining Company situated in the Mid-West, WA.

Key Responsibilities

This position is responsible for Supervision of multiple Housekeepers & Minesite Cleaners, ensuring the cleaning and general upkeep of >600 Accommodation Rooms, Village and/or Minesite facilities are maintained on a daily/rostered basis. Support to the Team will be required, in addition to ad hoc to the Village Team is occasionally required.

 

Duties include:

  • Build and maintain a professional relationship with all Stakeholders, including Client and Contractors
  • Following Site Cleaning Policies and Procedures are adhered too at all times
  • Designated work, service and living areas are held to a high standard of cleanliness
  • Housekeeping of Residents rooms within the Village environment as per schedule; stripping and making beds, removing, and replacing linen/towels, cleaning ensuites and all ablutions
  • Minesite Cleaning of Site offices and facilities, crib rooms and all ablutions
  • Managing daily schedules, achieving completion targets within allocated timeframes
  • Actioning maintenance requests/issues and responding to ad-hoc cleaning requests completed in a timely manner, where required
  • Maintain appropriate storage and use of Chemicals
  • Maintain accurate financial, maintenance and inventory records
  • Ensure adequate supplies of cleaning materials/consumables levels are available
  • Complete EOM stock take audits
  • Overseeing laundry duties, such as removal and replacement of linen/towels, sorting, folding and storage
  • Manage and support a 15+ Team, providing on the job training for New and Existing Employees and ensuring Payroll items are completed on time
  • Assist other departments from time to time, if required

 

About You

To join our team, you will have previous cleaning experience and be highly organized, possessing strong time and priority management skills. You will have a strong commitment to the hygiene and safety of yourself and others, and a passion to provide quality work and service with a smile, at all times.

 

You will possess:

  • VALID C Class License
  • Australian Working Rights
  • Ability to pass a comprehensive (Client) Pre-Employment Medical including Functional Testing and Instant Drug and Alcohol Screening
  • Current satisfactory National Police Check (within 6 months)
  • Previous experience at a Minesite Village experience (desirable)
  • The following experience / qualifications with First Aid, Certificate III / IV Commercial Cookery or Hospitality, HR License, PDT Authorisation, HRWL (LF), RSA / Approved Manager, ARO Certification and Cleaning (desirable)

 

Additionally, you will also possess the following skills:

  • Basic Systems and Technology experience i.e., iClean, MS Office, online/web-based Payroll & Training requirements
  • Ability to prioritise, multi-task and adapt to changing work tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work autonomously, be a self-motivator and respond to requests in a timely manner
  • Demonstrate a professional approach in the workplace, with excellent customer service skills
  • Have a strong commitment to the safety of yourself and others
