About The Opportunity
We are seeking a proactive and community-focused Club Manager to oversee the daily operations of a residential club facility located in Lyndhurst.
This full-time role offers a unique opportunity to manage amenities including a gym and pool, while fostering a vibrant and inclusive community environment.
As Club Manager, you will be responsible for coordinating facility maintenance, managing budgets, scheduling fitness programs and events, and ensuring compliance with safety and estate guidelines. You will also serve as the key liaison between residents, contractors, and the Owners Corporation Committee.
Key responsibilities
- Liaising with contractors to ensure Essential and preventative maintenance is performed
- Reporting to an Owners Corporation Committee and other key stakeholders
- Oversee the day-to-day running of the Club (which includes a gym, pool and function room facilities)
- Ensure Estate Compliance is completed, and residents are adhering to the Owners Corporation Rules & Guidelines
- Community engagement – develop and run activities and events
- Being able to run and maintain a set budget
- Administrative tasks
- Communicating and building relationships with residents, stakeholders and other staff
- Management of onsite gym programs and running group fitness classes for the residents
- Manage the onsite pool
- Complete daily inspections and audits to ensure compliance with OH&S standards and requirements
About you
To excel in this position, you will be a motivated individual who thrives on community engagement, has strong organisational skills, and is passionate about maintaining high standards in both service and facility management. Additionally, you will demonstrate and possess the following:
- Certificate III & IV in Fitness (desirable)
- Management experience (desirable)
- Able to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders
- OH&S focused and able to work autonomously
- Good communication and written skills
- Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel and Outlook
