 The Role:

Reporting to the Supervisor, as a Mechanical Tradesperson in our MPM team you will see yourself on the front line of installation and maintenance solving, diagnosing, troubleshooting hydraulic, pneumatic mechanical issues. Collaborating with a close-knit team to meet client needs and deadlines.

Prior experience in maintenance or projects in an industrial or water facility would be highly desired 

 Responsibilities:

  • Carry out mechanical work as designated by the appropriate supervisor to produce quality work within deadlines.
  • Assist with the operation and maintenance of water and wastewater assets, overhaul of pumps, motors, and valves etc
  • Provide technical input concerning the design, installation and maintenance tasks
  • Assist electrical trades where appropriate on project tasks
  • Liaise with clients and contractors on site while always maintaining a professional standard
  • Ensure WHS practices are maintained
  • Responsible for ensuring relevant Work Order data is captured through recording of information on electronic devices (iPad & iPhone)

 What you will need:

  • Must hold a mechanical trade qualification and have experience in relevant works

 Mechanical Trade

  • Well-developed communication skills
  • Knowledge of Occupational Safety and Health requirements including hazard identification
  • Blue/White Card
  • Experience with the maintenance and operation of fluid transfer equipment including pumps, piping, valves would be beneficial 
  • Dedication to safety and safe work practices
  • Experience in relevant online Work Order Management system beneficial
  • Full NSW driver’s licence
