We are seeking a Branch Manager to lead our well-established commercial paint business branch based in Toowoomba. This role is pivotal in managing day-to-day site operations and overseeing our painting business in the region. You will play a key role in ensuring the smooth running of the branch while driving business growth and operational excellence.

Leveraging your strong leadership and business acumen, your key responsibilities will be to:
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the Toowoomba branch, ensuring efficiency and smooth workflow
- Lead, mentor, and support a team of painters fostering collaboration and driving performance
- Take responsibility for managing the site’s P&L, including budget tracking, forecasting, and driving profitability
- Monitor and ensure the successful completion of projects on time, within budget, and to client specifications
- Foster a positive and high-performance team culture, ensuring clear communication and strong morale across all levels of staff
- Collaborate with leadership to develop and execute business growth strategies and process improvements
- Support the development of new business opportunities and manage key client relationships
- Ensure compliance with health and safety standards, company policies, and industry regulations
About You
While paint industry experience is not essential, experience in managing trades or blue-collar staff in a similar industry (such as construction or facilities management) will be highly advantageous. The ideal candidate will have:
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate diverse teams.
- Strong business acumen, with experience in managing P&L budgets, financial tracking, and forecasting
- Background in account or sales management, with an ability to develop and maintain client relationships would be highly advantageous
- Excellent organisational, communication, and problem-solving skills
- A proactive and solutions-focused approach to operational management
- A commitment to maintaining high standards of health, safety, and compliance
