The Role

We are currently seeking an enthusiastic Business Development Manager to join Programmed Skilled Workforce, based in Sydney. You may be an existing Business Development Manager within the recruitment industry or similar services sector looking to make a significant career move.

 

Reporting to the General Manager NSW/ ACT, this exciting Sydney based role will focus on driving and delivering to Programmed’s sales strategy across all lines of business with a specific focus on our areas of SMC and Major clients in light industrial workforce solutions.

 

This pivotal role with see you excel by utilising your extensive networking and communication skills, your ability to connect the dots between needs and solutions and your ability to hit the ground running. 


Skills and experience

In order to thrive in this position, demonstrated experience and following attributes in these areas are highly valued:

  • Researching new business opportunities in targeted industries predominantly in FMCG, Manufacturing, Warehousing, Logistics and broader fields of Trades
  • Performing prospecting activities and maintaining a sufficient base of prospects to enable completion of sales targets. Prospecting activities include cold calling, proposal preparation, product demonstrations, and customer analysis and needs assessments.
  • Working closely with delivery teams on new business you have secured
  • Developing opportunities to cross sell products to existing clients
  • Working collaboratively with the ANZ National Sales team on strategic pursuits


Personal Attributes & Qualifications

  • Demonstrated experience in a sales-based recruitment role or similar sales related experience in the services sector
  • Strong communication and proposal writing skills
  • Experience working to and hitting KPIs and targets
  • Ability to develop and sustain strong professional relationships with Prospects, Clients & Colleagues
  • Have strong computer literacy, Microsoft Office and Hubspot CRM or similar
  • Vehicle license  
  • Self-motivated and autonomous
