About The Opportunity
Programmed Property Services is currently seeking a proactive and solutions-focused Business Analyst to join our Business Systems team.
Based at our Notting Hill office, this maximum term contract position (until 31st March 2026 with potential for permanency) will play a key role in delivering a major technology transformation project. You will be working on the design and implementation of an end-to-end field service and works management solution that underpins the efficiency and performance of our operations.
This is a hands-on role ideal for someone who enjoys collaborating with stakeholders to optimise business processes, drive operational improvements, and ensure that technology solutions are closely aligned with Programmed’s strategic goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the end-to-end design, build, and configuration of business applications - particularly in facility and work order management systems, to ensure optimal performance and alignment with business needs.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to elicit, analyze, and document requirements, while developing process models, workflows, and functional documentation to support digital transformation initiatives.
- Translate business requirements into clear functional specifications, process flows, and use cases that align with Programmed’s operational goals.
- Act as the primary liaison between business users, internal IT teams, and external vendors to ensure effective communication, alignment, and delivery of business solutions.
- Perform gap analyses to identify opportunities for improvement between current and future state processes, with a strong focus on service delivery, maintenance, and workforce management.
- Lead system testing activities, including User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and delivering comprehensive end-user training to ensure successful solution adoption and implementation.
About You
You’ll thrive in this role if you bring:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Functional Business Analyst, ideally within field service, maintenance, or asset management industries.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate business needs into functional specifications.
- Skilled in requirements gathering, documentation, and process modeling (e.g., BPMN, UML, flowcharts).
- Proficient in tools such as JIRA, Confluence, Microsoft Visio, or similar.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and strong stakeholder communication and management capabilities.
- Experience with work management systems, including implementation and configuration (Simpro experience advantageous).
- Knowledge of system integrations, particularly in workforce management, scheduling, or asset management solutions.
