About The Opportunity

Join our Woodside contract team as a Warehouse Trainee and gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced, operational environment. You’ll provide essential support to daily warehouse activities including shipping, receiving, inventory management, and equipment handling.

This is a 12-month full-time traineeship where you will undertake and complete a Certificate III in Supply Chain Operations. Throughout the traineeship, you’ll combine formal study with practical, on-the-job learning, setting you up with the skills and experience needed to launch your career in warehousing and logistics.

Upon successful completion of the traineeship, there is potential for permanent employment with Programmed, depending on performance and business needs; meaning this could be the first step in a long and rewarding career with us.

Your daily duties will include:

  • Assisting with unloading and loading deliveries, verifying orders and paperwork
  • Participating in inventory counts and stock replenishment
  • Learning to safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment
  • Picking, packing, and preparing orders for dispatch accurately and on time
  • Maintaining accurate files and records within company systems
  • Supporting warehouse staff and management to meet operational goals
  • Promoting a positive safety culture and adhering to all company policies and procedures

This role is perfect for someone with strong attention to detail, a positive attitude, and a willingness to learn and grow within the supply chain and logistics field.

About you

We’re not looking for years of experience; we’re looking for potential. You might be a recent school leaver, career changer, or someone returning to the workforce. What matters most is your enthusiasm, reliability, and work ethic. You’ll thrive in this role if you have:

  • Completion of Year 10 (minimum)
  • A current Driver’s Licence (P-plate or full licence accepted)
  • Basic computer skills and a keen interest in learning new systems
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
  • Ability to work well within a team and communicate effectively
  • A focus on safety and adherence to company policies
