About the Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Team Lead – Grounds to lead and coordinate a dedicated team of grounds staff delivering maintenance services to a key client in Karratha, WA. This permanent, full-time FIFO role is part of a broader contract supporting approximately 600–700 residential properties linked to a state-of-the-art integrated gas production facility.

You’ll play a pivotal role in ensuring high-quality grounds maintenance, compliance with safety standards, and exceptional customer service in a fast-paced, highly regulated environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead grounds maintenance operations, ensuring quality outcomes and safety compliance.
• Coordinate and motivate a team of grounds staff and subcontractors.
• Develop and implement maintenance plans for landscaping and outdoor environments.
• Oversee day-to-day operations and troubleshoot issues.
• Maintain accurate records and drive operational efficiency.
• Ensure adherence to safety, environmental, and security protocols.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have experience supervising staff and a natural ability to bring people together as a leader who possesses first-class stakeholder engagement and customer service skills. Additionally, you will demonstrate and possess the following:

• Qualifications or experience in horticulture, lawns & gardens
• Current ChemCert accreditation (mandatory) and Arborist qualifications (desired).
• A methodical approach to work and strong problem-solving skills.
• A current driver’s license.
• Professional, reliable, and effective communication skills.
• Ability to execute work to a high standard with attention to detail.
• Strong commitment to Quality, Environmental, and Occupational Health & Safety systems.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Additional Requirements:

• National police clearance.
• Completion of ISI Training, MSIC, and ASIC cards.
