About the Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Team Lead – Grounds to lead and coordinate a dedicated team of grounds staff delivering maintenance services to a key client in Karratha, WA. This permanent, full-time FIFO role is part of a broader contract supporting approximately 600–700 residential properties linked to a state-of-the-art integrated gas production facility.
You’ll play a pivotal role in ensuring high-quality grounds maintenance, compliance with safety standards, and exceptional customer service in a fast-paced, highly regulated environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead grounds maintenance operations, ensuring quality outcomes and safety compliance.
- Coordinate and motivate a team of grounds staff and subcontractors.
- Develop and implement maintenance plans for landscaping and outdoor environments.
- Oversee day-to-day operations and troubleshoot issues.
- Maintain accurate records and drive operational efficiency.
- Ensure adherence to safety, environmental, and security protocols.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have experience supervising staff and a natural ability to bring people together as a leader who possesses first-class stakeholder engagement and customer service skills. Additionally, you will demonstrate and possess the following:
- Qualifications or experience in horticulture, lawns & gardens
- Current ChemCert accreditation (mandatory) and Arborist qualifications (desired).
- A methodical approach to work and strong problem-solving skills.
- A current driver’s license.
- Professional, reliable, and effective communication skills.
- Ability to execute work to a high standard with attention to detail.
- Strong commitment to Quality, Environmental, and Occupational Health & Safety systems.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Additional Requirements:
- National police clearance.
- Completion of ISI Training, MSIC, and ASIC cards.
