About the Role:
Programmed Electrical Technologies is seeking a proactive Change Administrator to support Defence AV and ICT projects. In this hands-on role, you will track, facilitate, and coordinate project changes, working closely with engineers, contracts teams, stakeholders, and subcontractors.
You will ensure all changes are documented, assessed, approved, and implemented in line with Defence governance, security, and compliance requirements. By maintaining accurate records and providing clear status updates, you’ll help keep projects on track and the change process running smoothly.
We’re looking for a detail-oriented, dependable team player with strong communication skills and the ability to manage competing priorities in structured project environments. Responsibilities:
- Coordinate day-to-day change activities with project delivery teams and engineering teams.
- Track, facilitate, and manage project change requests through the full change lifecycle.
- Ensure all changes are documented, assessed, approved, and implemented in line with Defence governance, security, and compliance requirements.
- Update and maintain the Change Service Manager portal, including entering revision information and keeping records current.
- Prepare initial project handover change packs for delivery teams.
- Prepare and manage updates for weekly Defence stakeholder meetings.
- Work closely with engineers, contracts teams, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth change implementation.
- Assist in preparing change-related reports, dashboards, and communications for stakeholders.
- Identify and escalate issues or risks related to changes to ensure prompt resolution.
About You:
- Valid driver’s license
- Minimum 2 years’ experience as a Change Administrator or similar Administrator role
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Commitment to safety and proactive risk management
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work in a fast-paced environment
- Appreciation for diversity and teamwork
- Care and empathy for colleagues, customers, and the community
- Respect for others’ contributions and a collaborative approach to achieving goals
Highly regarded:
- Previous experience in Defence, government, or regulated environments
- Defence clearance – Baseline, NV1, or NV2 (or able to be sponsored for clearance)
