As a permanent Cleaning Supervisor within the Pilgangoora Operations, you’ll be supporting a reputable mining and minerals organisation in the Pilbara.
You’ll lead and manage delivery of essential on-site services including village management, catering, cleaning and utilities, helping create a safe, welcoming home away from home for remote workers.
Located 140km south of Port Hedland, this role goes beyond operations. It’s about building care, consistency and community on site.

Key responsibilities
This Cleaning Supervisor is responsible for Supervision of multiple Housekeeping and Minesite Cleaning Utilities, ensuring the cleaning and general upkeep of >900 Accommodation Rooms, Village AND Mine Site facilities are maintained on a daily/rostered basis. This is a working role and ad hoc support to other Sites is occasionally required.
Duties include:
- Build and maintain a professional relationship with all Stakeholders, including Client and Contractors
- Following Site Cleaning Policies and Procedures are adhered too at all times
- Designated work, service and living areas are held to a high standard of cleanliness
- Housekeeping of Residents rooms within the Village environment as per schedule; stripping and making beds, removing, and replacing linen/towels, cleaning ensuites and all ablutions
- Managing daily schedules, achieving completion targets within allocated timeframes
- Actioning maintenance requests/issues and responding to ad-hoc cleaning requests completed in a timely manner, where required
- Maintain appropriate storage and use of Chemicals
- Maintain accurate financial, maintenance and inventory records
- Ensure adequate supplies of cleaning materials/consumables levels are available
- Complete EOM stock take audits
- Overseeing laundry duties, such as removal and replacement of linen/towels, sorting, folding and storage
- Manage and support a 20+, providing on the job training for New and Existing Employees and ensuring Payroll items are completed on time
- Assist other departments from time to time, if required
The incumbent is a key person to the Village Management Team and is involved in promoting positive staff morale and a safe work environment, ensuring quality systems, and supporting business and client focus within the PFM business and across the company.

You will possess:
- Australian Working Rights
- VALID Australian C Class Driver’s License
- Ability to pass a comprehensive (Client) Pre-Employment Medical including Instant Drug and Alcohol Screening
- Current satisfactory National Police Check (within 6 months)
- Previous cleaning supervisory experience at a Village / Minesite
- The following experience / qualifications with First Aid, HRWL (LF) and Strip-n-Seal (desirable)
Additionally, you will also possess the following skills:
- Basic Systems and Technology experience i.e., iClean, MS Office, online/web-based Payroll & Training requirements
- Ability to prioritise, multi-task and adapt to changing work tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work autonomously, be a self-motivator and respond to requests in a timely manner
- Demonstrate a professional approach in the workplace, with excellent customer service skills
- Have a strong commitment to the safety of yourself and others
