About the Opportunity

Programmed has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Contract Manager to join our Grounds & Open Spaces team in Perth.

In this role, you will lead the day-to-day delivery of commercial grounds maintenance contracts, overseeing mowing and horticultural services across a portfolio of high-profile client sites. This permanent, full-time position is based in Perth. You will be driving operational excellence, achieving strong financial outcomes and nurturing valued client partnerships, while building, mentoring and empowering a high-performing team.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations and manage staff across contract sites
• Coach, mentor and lead the contract team to deliver high performance outcomes.
• Deliver exceptional customer relationship management across high-profile sites.
• Partner with clients and operations team to achieve organic & new growth objectives.
• Prepare and manage financial budgets, forecasts and reporting requirements.
• Continually improve strategies and processes to increase operational performance.
• Provide expert knowledge to the development of bids & tenders.
• Promote and develop a safety culture across the business.
• Drive operational excellence to maximise customer satisfaction and contract performance.

About You

To excel in this role, you will be a motivated professional with a proactive, “can-do” attitude, strong people leadership skills and a drive for operational excellence. A background or strong knowledge of the groundskeeping or maintenance services industry is highly desirable

You will also demonstrate:

• Grounds and/or open spaces maintenance experience (highly desirable)
• Horticulture and/or landscaping qualifications (desirable)
• Demonstrated contract management experience.
• Strong financial management and budgeting capability.
• Experience preparing and delivering client reports.
• Highly developed communication and strong stakeholder engagement skills,
• Proactive approach to relationship management and business development.
• Ability to lead teams and foster a positive, performance-driven culture.
