About The Opportunity

Programmed’s Facility Management team is seeking a qualified Plumber to join our Woodside contract in Karratha.

This is a great opportunity to join an established maintenance team supporting the ongoing operation of major industrial facilities. Working Monday–Friday, you will be responsible for delivering preventative and reactive plumbing maintenance across the contract, helping ensure facilities remain safe, compliant and fully operational.

Importantly, this position is for Karratha-based candidates only. We are specifically seeking people who live locally in Karratha and are able to work from the site on a Monday–Friday basis.

What You’ll Be Doing

Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, your responsibilities will include:

  • Performing general plumbing maintenance and fault finding across contract facilities
  • Carrying out planned preventative maintenance and reactive repairs
  • Installing, repairing and maintaining pipes, valves, fittings and drainage systems
  • Responding to and resolving plumbing faults and breakdowns
  • Maintaining plumbing systems across amenities and associated facilities
  • Identifying and reporting defects, risks and improvement opportunities
  • Ensuring all work is completed safely and in line with relevant standards and requirements
  • Maintaining accurate records of maintenance activities
  • Working collaboratively with the wider maintenance team to meet operational requirements

About You

To join our team, you will be a qualified Plumber with experience in maintenance environments. Previous site experience is strongly desired, particularly across commercial, industrial or facilities environments.

You will also have:

  • Certificate III in Plumbing or equivalent
  • Current WA Plumbing Licence
  • Current G Class WA Gas Fitting Licence
  • Current C Class Driver’s Licence
  • Current White Card
  • Previous site, commercial, industrial or facilities maintenance experience
  • Strong fault-finding and problem-solving ability
  • A professional approach to the workplace
  • The ability to execute work to a high standard
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • A strong commitment to quality, environmental, occupational health and safety management systems
  • Full Australian working rights

Requirements

Successful applicants will be required to complete:

  • Pre-employment medical
  • Drug and alcohol screening
  • National Police Clearance
  • Relevant site inductions and client requirements
