What can our construction projects build for you?

Based in Brisbane, supporting current and future Projects as well as contributing to work winning across a diverse portfolio encompassing, civil, infrastructure, rail, renewables, defence and Building, the successful person will utilise their Industrial and/or Employee relations experience and insight to ensure sound and proactive industrial relations practices are maintained and align to our strategic objectives.

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Proven experience as an IR/ER or workplace relations specialist with exposure to complex industrial environments.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of industrial relations principles, practices and their corresponding interaction with business performance.
  • Sound judgment and problem-solving abilities, balancing the motivation for immediate solutions with the discipline to ensure decisions compliment the overall business objectives
  • Evidence of capacity to provide accurate and timely advice and support to all levels of management on a wide range of industrial relations issues including capability to interpreting industrial instruments and employment related legislation.
  • Advanced communication skills and an ability to build sustainable and collaborative relationships often in challenging environments.
  • A data driven approach to decision making and advice, adept at collecting, analysing, and distilling a broad range of information to enable considered decision making in complex situations.
  • The ability to provide advice to the business to assist with work winning, reviewing tender documents, assisting with responses and recommendations on wage trends, terms and conditions and other people-based considerations
  • Demonstrated experience in executing and driving strategies, business standards and practice to ensure compliance with statutory and government standards
