The Project

CPB Contractors are currently seeking Planners for current and upcoming building projects, based in Brisbane.

Brisbane International Airport –  CPB Contractors selected for Brisbane Airport International Terminal Security and Retail Upgrade project

New Bundaberg Hospital –  CPB Contractors selected for new Bundaberg Hospital project

About the Role:

  • Developing design and construction programmes that reflect agreed methodologies and identify key activities, milestones, and constraints.
  • Ensuring the processes and controls for planning are carried in accordance with the construction management system and contract requirements.
  • Liaising with construction personnel on site to ensure that all construction activity data reflects real levels of progress.
  • Conducting regular reviews against plan and taking corrective actions as required.
  • Contributing to the robust review and assessment of preferred subcontractors and suppliers agreed programs that satisfy the projects contract program.
  • Assisting with monthly reviews of the project program with delivery teams and consolidate and compile project program reports.

Key Requirements:

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications
  • Proven ability to effectively engage and communicate with senior stakeholders and project team to achieve best project outcomes.
  • Previous experienced in Civil construction projects.
  • Additional experienced in planning Hospitals, Airports or other Building projects would be highly regarded.
  • Proven competency with current industry standard planning software including Primavera P6, Asta Powerproject, Microsoft Project, TILOS, Chainlink.
  • Performance Measurement & Reporting - Dashboards & KPM's.
  • Previous experience or exposure with 4D planning and BIM
