CBGU JV brings together partners CPB Contractors, BAM, Ghella and UGL to deliver the Tunnels and Stations package for Brisbane’s Cross River Rail. Cross River Rail is a 10.2 kilometre rail line between Dutton Park and Bowen Hills, including 5.9 kilometres of tunnel under the Brisbane River and CBD. The project also includes construction of four new high-capacity underground stations at Boggo Road, Woolloongabba, Albert Street and Roma Street.

Reporting to the Precinct Manager, you will support project personnel in the implementation of project completions requirements as per applicable plans and ensure the specified outcomes are in compliance with the plan and appropriate system completions. You will ensure the handover records are obtained and maintained in the documentation system, while meeting the Project Quality requirements.
The Completions Manager will:
- The completions manager will ensure relevant project delivery records are captured and collated in the electronic document management system
- Check handover packages and collate the required construction documents, and system certification related documentation as per the process
- Site based role, liaising with the site construction team including the vendors, to ensure progress of the completions
- Monitor and review subcontractors' completions deliverables and ensure they fulfil their quality obligations
- Coordinate with the Hexagon team and construction team to obtain system assurance certificates
- Attend handover inspection walks and punch list walks as required and progress closeout of punch list items in the system
- Undertake and report completions progress
- Review compliance records and close out construction lots
- Monitor and coordinate closure of project delivery records and ensure completeness of records to satisfy Client requirements
- Assist with compiling data and information for the weekly/monthly Quality performance reports
- Participate in meetings to discuss completions performance
- Check handover packages and collate the required construction and system certification documents
- Understand and effectively undertake Safety, Health and Environment (SHE) accountabilities
Our minimum requirements for this role are :
- Recognised degree in Engineering or Construction Management
- Minimum three (3) to five (5) years of construction experience within an established Quality Management System
- Previous experience in a completions role within the construction industry
- Knowledge of Hexagon completions system, PowerBi (Highly Regarded)
- Ability to follow QMP and relevant processes
- Awareness of the applicable Australian and International standards - both technical and related to the management system
- Ability to follow up the required completions documents, review and confirm the integrity of the same
- Ability to review process and procedure documents, drawings, checklist, ITP for the completions requirements
- Computer literate with knowledge of MS Excel, MS Word etc. and adaptability to utilise the completions system
- Demonstrated ability to work with a high level of accuracy within scheduled timelines
- Effective communication with all levels of management and staff, verbal and written
- Well developed and demonstrated consultation, negotiation and influencing skills
- Advanced presentation skills with the ability to demonstrate and train others
- Demonstrated commitment to the safety and health framework, policies and management system requirements and expectations
