The Role

As a Senior Accountant or Accountant, you will:

  • Prepare detailed financial position papers and monthly reports for the Warringah Freeway Upgrade
  • Conduct in-depth financial analysis, review key metrics, and identify trends across project data
  • Attend site visits to engage with commercial teams and understand project mechanics
  • Support audit processes and liaise with internal and external stakeholders
  • Drive process improvements and mentor junior finance staff
  • Collaborate with legal and commercial teams to ensure compliance with accounting standards

You’ll be part of a high-performing finance team based in North Sydney, working closely with senior leaders and project stakeholders.

About You

  • CA qualification and a degree in Accounting or Finance
  • Minimum 6 years’ experience in financial or management accounting
  • Audit background from a Big 4 or top-tier firm (first or second mover)
  • Strong technical accounting knowledge
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, project-driven environment
  • Experience in construction accounting is a plus
