The Project

The project is in the Defence sector on sites located in regional Western Australia. The overall project is more than 2 years in duration, involving significant construction upgrades to airfield asphalt pavements and related infrastructure assets.

Your opportunity

We’re looking for a proactive and safety-focused professional to join our team as a Safety Advisor. In this role, you’ll provide expert guidance and support to ensure compliance and maintain a strong safety culture across the project. You’ll be confident in managing multiple priorities, conducting audits, and engaging with teams to drive best practices. This is a FIFO position on a 14/7 roster.

Our minimum requirements for this role are:

  • Certificate IV in Occupational Health & Safety or equivalent
  • 5 years’ experience in a similar role on Civil, E&I construction projects
  • Sound understanding of Construction Safety legislation
  • Demonstrable experience of Safety Management System implementation
  • High level ability to conducting site inspections, audits and risk assessments
  • Experience leading incident investigations and reporting highly desirable
  • Ability to effectively prioritise and manage assigned workload
  • Willingness to work on a 14 days on, 7 days off, Fly in Fly out roster.
  • Ability to meet Department of Defence security clearance requirements (DCAC).
