Your Opportunity

We are looking for an experienced Mechanical Project Engineer to join our project team. This is a great opportunity to secure work for a Tier 1 company on an exciting gas gathering project.

As a Project Engineer, you will be accountable for:

  • Monitoring key construction requirements to ensure they are achieved in line with agreed specifications.
  • Managing work conducted on site by subcontractor’ and suppliers.
  • Implementing prompt and safe corrective action on site if required.
  • Maintaining all relevant project document control and records.
  • Working closely with your team in a productive manner and being the driving force to get the job done

Our minimum requirements for this role are:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Mechanical Engineering along with experience in a similar role
  • Experience in process piping, installation, fabrication (Welding, Non Destructive Testing (NDT), flange management and pressure testing.
  • Experience in Quality Control (Inspection and Test Plans, Inspection Test Reports, Field Inspection Check Sheets) and Completions Systems
  • Experience in Oil and Gas or Mining (preferred)
  • Ability to implement safe work systems & environmental controls.
  • Proven commercial acumen
  • Ability to collaborate as part of a supportive, high-performing team
  • Excellent communication skills with a strong attention to detail

This role is offered on FIFO arrangement from Brisbane or local hire on a 18 on and 10 off roster.
