The Project

CPB Contractors has been selected by the Queensland Government as managing contractor for stage one of the new Bundaberg Hospital. CPB Contractors will lead the design phase of the project which involves the design of a new six-storey hospital for acute, medical, surgical and mental health services, as well as emergency, clinical support services, and associated infrastructure.

The project requires Services Managers with strong building services experience on a drive in drive out roster or move to the local area.  

You will be responsible for:

  • Coordinating procurement and construction elements for the designated services work area.
  • Managing short and long-term construction planning and programming.
  • Assisting the Engineers in preparing accurate monthly reports.
  • Developing and monitoring KPI and productivity analysis against program and budget.
  • Actively liaising with site-based personnel, subcontractors and suppliers.

Minimum requirements for this role include the following:

  • Tertiary qualifications in engineering in a Mechanical or Electrical discipline.
  • Demonstrated experience working on large scale building or infrastructure projects.
  • Experience in coordination of Mechanical subcontractors.
  • Demonstrated commitment to health and safety practices and expectations.
  • Have a good understanding of the core building engineering service having managed the design process
