Due to increased workload and growth, the QLD/PNG Business Unit is seeking a highly experience Planner to support major building projects.

The Planner will sit within the relevant project team and will provide planning and project controls expertise and advice to the project whilst ensuring that there is up-to-date reporting and understanding of the project program status.

Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

• Develop, maintain, and update project programs for both the Planning and Delivery Phases, ensuring accuracy and alignment with project progress
• Collaborate with Project and Construction Managers to integrate construction methodologies and sequences into the program
• Prepare and maintain basis of schedule documentation, including 4D modelling and build sequence diagrams
• Identify and mitigate program risks and constraints, and support tender program development through detailed planning analysis

To be successful in this role you must have:

• Experience on complex, high-value construction or infrastructure projects
• Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline (e.g. Engineering, Construction Management, or similar)
• Proficiency in planning software such as Asta Powerproject, Microsoft Project, and Primavera P6
• Understanding of or exposure to 4D planning and Building Information Modelling (BIM)
• Strong stakeholder engagement and communication capabilities
