The Project
SkyWay Joint Venture (SkyWay JV) consisting of CPB Contractors and BMD Constructions has been appointed by Perth Airport to undertake the delivery of Perth’s New Runway – Airfield Landside Works (PNR), involving the construction of a new 3,000m long, 45m wide runway.
The new runway is part of the multi-million dollar infrastructure investment by Perth Airport and is the most important piece of aviation infrastructure being built in Western Australia. This work will underpin the future operations of Perth Airport by creating more capacity for airline partners.
PNR is a Construct Only Project at Perth Airport, Western Australia located approximately 13km to the east of Perth CBD. Works are underway and will continue until 2028.
Your Opportunity
Reporting to the Procurement Manager, we are currently seeking an experienced Senior Procurement Advisor to support and deliver procurement activities in line with the procurement management process of the project.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare accurate and timely cost reports, including forecasts and variance analysis, in collaboration with budget holders and project teams.
- Reconcile weekly wages and plant costs to correct JDE cost codes, aligned with Rover hours and CDRs.
- Establish and maintain contract rates in Rover for all resource classes, aligned with contract rate tables and site rosters.
- Work closely with Area Managers, Project Engineers, and Accounts to resolve discrepancies and provide additional cost analysis as required.
- Support effective cost control through cost monitoring, participation in project reviews, and continuous process improvement.
Our minimum requirements for this role are:
- Demonstrated experience in managing multiple procurement packages.
- Relevant tertiary or vocational qualifications.
- CIPS or equivalent accreditation preferable but not essential.
- Experience in developing tender scope and interpretation of work packages.
- Effective interpersonal and written and oral communication skills.
- Demonstrated high level decision making, negotiation and influencing skills.
- High standard for attention to detail.
