The Riverina Redevelopment Join Venture is a 50/50 joint venture between CPB Contractors and Downer to undertake major upgrades and replacement of exisiting infrustructure facilities to support Defence capability for the next 30 years.
The proposed project consists of a program of works across three Department of Defence establishments including;
- Albury Wodonga Military Area (AWMA)
- RAAF Base Wagga (RBW)
- Blamey Barracks Kapooka (BBK)
The proposed capital investment of $1.7b will incorporate a variety of elements including:
- Construction of new messing and living in accommodation
- Construction of new training and mess facilities
- Refurbishment and upgrading of existing buildings
- Remedial works and upgrades to infrastructure services

Your Opportunity
We are seeking motivated Senior Contracts Administrator to join our high‑performing project delivery team.
In this role, you will effectively manage the administration of all subcontractor and supplier contracts within prescribed cost limits and contribute to ensuring financial and operational commitments are met or exceeded.
Ensure an accurate Contracts Administration service is provided to the Project, through:
- Effectively managing the administration of all subcontract and supplier contracts
- Managing the financial administration for the project
- Managing the site office administration for the project
- Assisting the Project Manager in the preparation and review of the project monthly report including providing workings completed, programme and cost data
- Developing and managing own work schedule to deliver required outputs to expected quality and within timeframes
- Assist with any contractual issues on the project
- Assist with Identifying, evaluating, and submitting potential variations/claims
- Ensuring main contract payments are prepared and received on time
- Taking all adequate measures for avoiding disputes
- Encourage a supportive and collaborative environment of sharing knowledge and ideas to ensure continuous improvement within the team
- Lead and develop an effective and productive team, including managing the work performance of self and team members, and developing alignment between team capability and the functions business objectives
About You
- 5 - 7 years of relevant experience
- Robust understanding of relevant legislation
- Ability to effectively prioritise and manage time and workload
- Demonstrated leadership skills and the ability to build a high performing team that delivers excellence
- Detailed knowledge and demonstrated high level experience in project management, planning, budgeting, and cost control
- Intermediate to advanced computer skills
- Effective interpersonal and written and oral communication skills
- Demonstrated commercial acumen and the ability to interpret and apply contracts
- Demonstrated high level decision making, negotiation and influencing skills
- Demonstrated ability to manage and resolve conflict in a high stress environment
- Demonstrated high level analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Positively demonstrate CPB's principles through behaviour at all times and promote a culture based on integrity, accountability, innovation and delivery.
- Australian Citizenship or Permanent Residency is required, with eligibility to obtain and maintain Baseline Security Clearance.
