CPB Contractors, together with fellow CIMIC Group companies, UGL and EIC, is proud to be driving the ground-up development of a multi-megawatt data centre in Truganina in the western suburbs of Melbourne. As the trusted delivery partners for Coravel, a global digital infrastructure platform, we will be frontiering mission critical facilities and infrastructure. Our expertise will seamlessly integrate complex systems across mechanical, electrical, plumbing and fire, power and telecommunications among much more.
Our integration with Coravel, empowers this build to draw on the shared knowledge and aligned systems across an international network to bring global best practice to our region.
The 80 MW data centre will consist of two adjoining 40MW data centres featuring complex internally integrated electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, fire protection, ICT and security systems. Construction will also involve extensive external inground services works, modular electrical equipment including HV / Fire protection facilities construction and civil finishing works.
Your opportunity
This is one of those roles where you'll quickly become part of the fabric of the project. You'll support the people delivering the work, help keep safety and compliance requirements on track and make sure the day-to-day details don't get missed.
You'll spend your time working with site teams, safety professionals and project leaders to keep records current, coordinate onboarding, support reporting and generally make life easier for the people around you.
No one succeeds on a major project alone and this role is a great example of that. The work you do behind the scenes helps everyone else do their job safely, efficiently and with confidence.
What you'll be doing
- Supporting the project's safety, quality and compliance activities through accurate administration and record keeping
- Coordinating site inductions, onboarding and workforce compliance requirements
- Maintaining training, competency and licence records
- Assisting with audits, inspections, reporting and project documentation
- Preparing meeting agendas, minutes and project communications
- Maintaining organised filing systems and project records
- Processing invoices, expenses and other project administration tasks
- Supporting project leaders and SHEQ teams with day-to-day coordination and administration
- Building strong relationships across project teams, subcontractors and stakeholders
- Helping create an organised, professional and well-supported project environment
What you'll bring
- Experience in a SHEQ Administration, Project Administration, Site Administration or coordination role
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities
- A high level of attention to detail and pride in producing accurate work
- A proactive approach and willingness to jump in and help where needed
- Confidence working with a range of stakeholders across site and project teams
- Strong Microsoft Office skills and the ability to learn new systems quickly
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative, team-first mindset
