About the Role

Reporting to the Project Leadership Team, the Senior Design Manager will be responsible for leading and coordinating multidisciplinary design activities across the project lifecycle.

Key responsibilities include:

• Leading the design management function from planning through delivery
• Managing consultants and coordinating multidisciplinary design teams
• Driving design quality, compliance, and project outcomes
• Facilitating stakeholder engagement and design workshops
• Managing design risks and resolving technical challenges
• Supporting program, cost, and constructability objectives
• Ensuring compliance with client, statutory, and project requirements
• Working closely with project delivery teams to achieve successful project outcomes

About You

To be successful in this role, you will bring:

• 10+ years' experience in Design Management roles
• Proven experience delivering major hospital or healthcare projects
• Strong background managing complex multidisciplinary design packages
• Experience working within Tier 1 construction, major projects, or large-scale infrastructure environments
• Excellent stakeholder management and leadership skills
• Strong understanding of design delivery, project risk, and construction methodologies
• Degree qualification in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or a related discipline
