The Project

The Logan and Gold Coast Faster Rail (LGC) Project will double the number of rail tracks and upgrade stations for a section of the Gold Coast Line from Kuraby, a suburb approximately 16km south of Brisbane’s CBD, to Beenleigh, a suburb of Logan City.

Your Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Senior Safety Advisor to provide hands-on safety leadership across the project, partnering closely with construction teams, engineers, subcontractors and senior project leadership to maintain a strong safety culture and ensure the highest standards of health and safety are embedded across delivery. This is an opportunity to join a large-scale, complex infrastructure project and play a key role in supporting safe and efficient project delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide proactive safety leadership and advice across site operations and construction activities.
• Conduct site inspections, audits, risk assessments and safety observations, ensuring compliance with project requirements.
• Develop, review and implement SWMS, safety plans and risk controls.
• Support incident investigations, corrective actions and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Partner with project leadership, engineers, supervisors and subcontractors to drive a strong safety culture.

Minimum Requirements

• 5+ years' experience in a Safety Advisor role within major construction or infrastructure projects.
• Relevant WHS qualification and strong knowledge of NSW WHS legislation.
• Experience across major infrastructure, rail, tunnelling or civil construction projects.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage confidently with both site teams and senior leadership.
