Expressions of Interest – Design Manager (Healthcare Project | Albury, NSW)

As we prepare for the delivery of a significant healthcare project in Albury, NSW, we are seeking Expressions of Interest from experienced Design Managers who are passionate about delivering world-class health infrastructure that leaves a lasting legacy for the community.

This opportunity will suit professionals who have led multidisciplinary design teams on major hospitals, healthcare facilities, complex commercial buildings or other technically challenging projects from planning and design through to construction delivery.

We are particularly interested in Design Managers with experience in:

• Major hospital and healthcare infrastructure projects
• Managing multidisciplinary design teams across architectural, structural, civil, mechanical and electrical disciplines
• Design coordination through all project phases
• Value engineering and design optimisation
• Design risk identification and mitigation
• Stakeholder engagement with clients, consultants, authorities and end users
• Constructability reviews and contractor-led design management
• Building services integration and coordination
• Compliance with healthcare standards, codes and project requirements

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate the overall design process from development through delivery.
• Manage consultants and design stakeholders to achieve programme, cost and quality objectives.
• Drive collaboration between design, engineering and construction teams.
• Identify and resolve design issues to support successful project outcomes.
• Ensure design packages are delivered safely, efficiently and in accordance with project requirements.
• Support innovation, value creation and buildability initiatives throughout the project lifecycle.
