What can our construction projects build for you?

CPB Contractors along with our industry partners has been selected as preferred proponent to deliver two major packages for the Cross River Rail Projects: the Tunnel, Stations and Development (TSD) package and the Rail, Integration and Systems (RIS) package. Cross River Rail is a new 10.2 kilometre rail line from Dutton Park to Bowen Hills, which includes 5.9 kilometres of tunnel under the Brisbane River and the CBD.

The RIS package is crucial to the overall delivery and success of Cross River Rail, and its integration with the Queensland Rail network.  RIS will be delivered by the UNITY Alliance which brings CPB Contractors, UGL, AECOM and Jacobs together with partners HASSEL, RCS Australia, Acmena, Martinus Rail and WIRED Overhead Solutions to deliver the full scope of works over the next five years. This includes:

  • Rail civil and electrical works
  • Brownfield rail surface works primarily to the north of the tunnel, including an upgrade of Exhibition Station and a major augmentation of Mayne Yard and the new Clapham yard
  • Upgrade of six suburban stations to the south
  • Rail operational systems works
  • Rail signalling works and communication, and integration and commission activities.

Your Opportunity

CPB Contractors and the Unity Alliance are currently seeking a Completions Coordinator to join our team. You will contribute to the effectiveness of the project by providing effective document and data control services, that support and enable Project handover and completions, to ensure project management records and management system documentation are integrated, accessible, timely, collected and filed.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Coordinate completion and handback activities and record collaboration
  • Coordinate commissioning and construction turn over records
  • Coordinate the submission of project and contract deliverables
  • Proactively engage stakeholders to actively drive the completions and handover process
  • Develop and Deliver Training
  • Develop Work Instructions, Procedures and Training Material
  • Provide guidance, support and coaching on handover requirements
  • Lead Project Collaboration Meetings ensuring program progression
  • Manage and update the Handover Indexes
  • Manage Handover Reporting
  • Assist with the development, configuration and ongoing maintenance of Hexagon application
  • Assist in developing processes to effectively manage Project Completions and Handover Deliverables
  • Assist in the configuration for TeamBinder, PlanGrid and any other application deemed necessary
  • Conduct process audits / data analysis on the Completions, Commissioning and Construction turn-over process and deliverables
  • Assist in the implementation of the Handback Management Plan
  • Ensure that all document control and handover systems are satisfactorily administered
  • Identify risks / gaps to the completions and handover process and assist in solution development
  • Analyse and assess areas for improvement and take steps to implement the identified improvements
  • Roll out any changes using an effective Change Management approach including efficient communications and training

Minimum requirements for this role include the following:

  • Minimum of 2 years experience in a Systems Role or Project Information Deliverable Role
  • Construction / Mining industry project experience
  • Excellent collaboration and coordination skills
  • Experience in project completions and / or handover
  • Experience in developing processes to meet requirements / deliver outcomes
  • Ability to run and coordinate large collaboration meetings
  • Excellent verbal communications skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel & Reporting
  • Experience managing large quantities of data / Document Control exposure
  • Experience configuring or setting up TeamBinder, Hexagon or other Project Information Management Systems or Electronic Document Management System (EDMS) favourable
  • Change Management / Training experience favourable
