About the role:

This role as Bid Manager will see you, as part of the Victorian and Tasmanian business unit Pre-Contracts team, develop and implement positioning and winning strategies, then drive and coordinate our talented and committed people in the pursuit of securing new work. As the Bid Manager, you will be accountable for:

  • Contribute to/and communicate the agreed strategic direction for winning work
  • Assist with the identification and selection of partners, specialists and subcontractors
  • Implement tender execution plan to ensure resources are appropriate and used effectively and efficiently
  • Drive, challenge and support the bid team to develop and deliver exceptional outcomes
  • Create and maintain strong relationships with external and internal stakeholders
  • Ensure that all internal Governance requirements are complied with.

Our requirements for this role are:

  • Relevant experience in a project management, commercial or engineering environment
  • Ability to manage teams in delivery of defined outcomes under time and cost constraints
  • Experience in a previous work winning function would be viewed favourably, in particular showing an understanding of the various inputs required to develop high quality proposals
  • Strong leadership, teamwork, written and verbal communication skills
  • Organised with ability to quickly adapt and manage change
  • Analytical and strategic thinking.
