The Project 

The CPB Contractors, Ghella & UGL joint venture has been successful in securing the contract to deliver the $3.1bn M6 Stage 1 project.  The project will deliver the missing link from Sydney’s south to the wider Sydney motorway network making journeys easier, faster and safer. It will remove more than 2,000 trucks a day from surface roads and help return local streets to local communities. 

With works commenced in early 2022, the M6 Stage 1 project scope includes the construction of twin four-kilometre tunnels and associated works, linking the M8 Motorway at Arncliffe to President Avenue at Kogarah. 

The Opportunity

We are looking for a Site Administrator to provide effective commercial support to our Surface Works Team 4-5 days a week.  We can offer flexible start/finish times to accommodate school pickup and drop-off.

 Key Accountabilities

  • Processing requisitions and purchase/hire orders
  • Reconciling and processing accounts
  • Assisting in the month-end process
  • Maintaining various registers and spreadsheets
  • Assist with preparing, formatting and collating reports and presentations
  • Liaising with subcontractors and suppliers as required
  • General administrative duties as required

 About You

  • Diploma in Business Administration or Finance desirable but not essential
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office – Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
  • Strong level written and verbal communication
  • Strong client focus and relationship management
  • Experience with JDE software desirable but not essential
  • Demonstrate a high attention to detail and ability to work to deadlines whilst managing conflicting priorities in a high-volume work environment

The successful candidate will be required to hold a current Construction Industry Induction Card (White Card or equivalent) and undergo a medical assessment (including drug and alcohol testing) prior to commencement.
