The Project

The Riverina Redevelopment Joint Venture is a 50/50 joint venture between CPB Contractors and Downer to undertake major upgrades and replacement of existing infrastructure and facilities to support Defence capability for the next 30 years.

The proposed project consists of a program of works across three Department of Defence establishments including:

  • Albury Wodonga Military Area (including North, South & East Bandiana, Latchford Barracks, Wirlinga)
  • Blamey Barracks (Kapooka)
  • RAAF Base Wagga

The proposed capital investment of $1.7b will incorporate a variety of elements including:

  • Construction of new messing and living in accommodation
  • Construction of new training facilities
  • Refurbishment and upgrading of existing buildings
  • Remedial works and upgrades to infrastructure services

Your opportunity

We are looking for an experienced IT Support Coordinator to support the Riverina Redevelopment Joint Venture.  You will be responsible for initial IT setup, general IT support, process improvements and ensuring consistency across the three projects that make up the Riverina Redevelopment JV in relation to key IT systems and processes. This role will work closely and collaboratively with key stakeholders across project teams to ensure IT processes are streamlined, efficient and effective, whilst obtaining an innovative & continuous improvement mindset.

Our minimum requirements for this role are:

  • Degree qualified in computer science, information systems or information technology or equivalent
  • A strong understanding of best practice systems, e.g. ISO, ITIL or other service and quality management standards
  • Strong solution design and process improvement skills
  • Experience in a large Tier 1, complex environment
  • Project based experience is highly regarded

This role can be based in either Sydney or Melbourne.
