Your Opportunity
We are currently seeking applications for a Senior Temporary Works Coordinator to assist in managing the temporary works design (TWD) delivery during the construction phase of the project.
As Temporary Works Coordinator, you will be accountable for:
- Planning and controlling the delivery of Senior Temporary Works Design to ensure the achievement of quality, completion and project objectives
- Coordinating and liaising with respective Delivery Engineers to develop Temporary Works Design solutions to facilitate the construction of the Permanent Works
- Managing design consultants allocated to the project to ensure that their progress meets requirements
- Managing the design approval process by coordinating issue resolution
- Managing client and stakeholder expectations and communicate effectively with the project team
- Working in conjunction with the Engineering Manager in the assessment of design costs and schedules
- Collating information and report against budgets and schedules
- Understanding design compliance and reporting procedures and processes and leadership in the communication of requirements
Requirements for this role are:
- Bachelor Degree in Engineering
- Experience in temporary works design management on large civil projects or heavy civil construction delivery
- Knowledge of project management structure, plans, specifications, standards and implications for project accountabilities
- Excellent problem solving, influencing and negotiation skills
- Ability to develop and maintain collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders
