  • Experience as a Lead Auditor of Quality Management Systems, with strong knowledge of integrated Safety, Health, and Environmental management systems.
  • Detailed understanding of relevant New Zealand and International standards, both technical and related to quality management systems.
  • Knowledge of Tier 1 safety and quality assurance frameworks.

Experience, Skills, and Behavioural Competencies Required for this Position:

  • Construction quality management experience, with demonstrated knowledge of quality assurance principles, processes, and policies applied to large-scale projects.
  • Ability to apply quality principles to ensure compliance with project-specific scope of works and technical criteria (SWTC).
  • Proficiency in developing and implementing SHEQ (Safety, Health, Environment, and Quality) processes and procedures, and leading others in their application.
  • Demonstrated commercial expertise, including planning, scheduling and providing regular reports on cost, time, and performance metrics.
  • High-level communication skills, including written and oral, with the ability to train, negotiate, influence, and consult with stakeholders.
  • Strong relationship-building skills, with a proven ability to collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders, clients, and subcontractors.
  • Presentation skills and the ability to demonstrate and train others effectively.
  • A self-starter who is highly motivated, well-organized, and committed to maintaining the highest possible work standards.
