The Opportunity

We have an opportunity for an experienced Contract Administrator to join the commercial team delivering a major rail infrastructure project in South East Queensland.

Working closely with Contracts Managers and delivery teams, you'll manage the commercial administration of key rail and station packages, including claims, variations, EOTs and contractual correspondence.

Based on project site in the Logan region, you'll be responsible for the commercial management of multiple subcontractor packages throughout project delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Administer multiple subcontractor and supplier packages throughout project delivery
  • Manage variations, delays, Extension of Time claims and contractual entitlements
  • Review and assess subcontractor payment claims
  • Prepare and issue contractual notices, demand letters and commercial correspondence
  • Support subcontract negotiations and commercial discussions
  • Monitor subcontractor performance and contractual compliance
  • Assess claims and challenge unsupported or inflated entitlements
  • Identify and manage commercial risks and opportunities
  • Work closely with delivery and commercial teams to support project objectives

About You

  • Experience as a Contract Administrator on major infrastructure, rail, transport, civil or building projects
  • Strong downstream contract administration experience across subcontractor and supplier packages
  • Demonstrated experience managing variations, EOTs, delays and payment claims
  • Experience preparing contractual notices, correspondence and commercial documentation
  • Ability to independently draft and issue contractual letters, notices and demands
  • Strong procurement, subcontract management and commercial risk capability
  • Strong negotiation and stakeholder management skills
  • Practical, accountable and commercially minded in your approach
