Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong experience in motion graphics, 3D animation, and virtual cinematography.
- Proficiency in Adobe After Effects, Premiere Pro, and familiarity with 3D software (e.g., Blender, Cinema 4D, Autodesk tools).
- Deep understanding of construction processes, architectural visualization, and technical storytelling.
- Ability to interpret engineering data and translate it into engaging visual content.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, especially in cross-functional teams.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in construction, architecture, or infrastructure-related animation.
- Familiarity with BIM workflows and rendering engines.
- Knowledge of scripting or automation in After Effects (e.g., expressions).
Key Responsibilities:
- Visual Storytelling: Craft compelling narratives that explain construction sequences and methodologies through cinematic camera movement and animation.
- Virtual Camera Direction: Design and execute dynamic camera paths that enhance clarity and engagement, simulating real-world perspectives and walkthroughs.
- Collaboration with BIM Team: Partner with BIM specialists to integrate CGI assets and ensure technical accuracy in animations.
- Post-Production: Edit and enhance animations using Adobe After Effects and Premiere Pro, incorporating motion graphics, transitions, and sound design.
- Previsualization: Develop storyboards and animatics to plan camera movement, timing, and scene transitions.
- Technical Integration: Ensure smooth workflow between BIM-generated models and motion graphics tools, optimizing for performance and visual fidelity.
- Content Versatility: Adapt storytelling techniques for a wide range of projects, including civil infrastructure (e.g., tunnels, roads, bridges) and advanced tech sector buildings (e.g., data centres, healthcare facilities).
