Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Web Developer with a focus on Microsoft Azure cloud application development. The ideal candidate will bring at least seven years of professional experience in designing, developing, and deploying web applications using Azure services. This role requires a proactive problem-solver who can collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative, secure, and scalable solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain web applications leveraging Microsoft Azure cloud services.
• Implement secure, scalable, and high-performance solutions with a focus on reliability and best practices.
• Collaborate with product managers, UX/UI designers, and other developers to deliver high-quality products.
• Integrate third-party APIs and Azure components such as Azure Functions, App Services, Cosmos DB, and Azure DevOps.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimise application performance and cloud resource usage.
• Write and maintain technical documentation, including architecture diagrams and deployment guides.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in Azure technologies and web development trends.

Education and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Relevant certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Developer Associate or higher is preferable.

Experience and Skills

• Minimum of 7 years’ hands-on experience in web development, with a strong portfolio of Azure-based applications.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, C#, .NET Core, JavaScript, Typescript (including frameworks like ReactJS, FluentUI, Angular), and familiarity with API Hooks.
• Demonstrated experience deploying, monitoring, and maintaining applications in the Azure cloud environment.
• Solid understanding of cloud security, authentication, and authorisation mechanisms.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing using GitHub, Azure DevOps or similar tools.
• Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
