Role Overview
We are looking for a Planning Engineer to support project planning and scheduling activities across our projects. This role ensures accurate and efficient planning to drive timely project delivery while minimizing time-related risks.
Key Responsibilities
Pre-Construction Planning
- Collaborate with Business Development, Estimating, and Precontracts teams
- Develop project schedules and timelines based on resources and project requirements
- Optimize construction plans using efficient methodologies and tools
- Identify and assess risks and opportunities related to project timelines
Project Monitoring & Problem Resolution
- Monitor project progress and identify schedule deviations
- Develop mitigation strategies and revised timelines
- Coordinate with project teams and commercial stakeholders
- Support claims and identify delay or disruption events
- Engage clients, suppliers, and subcontractors on timeline adjustments
Stakeholder Management
- Maintain strong communication with internal teams and external stakeholders
- Anticipate client needs and identify potential risks early
Team Collaboration
- Communicate issues effectively within the team
- Support continuous improvement in planning practices
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Building Engineering, or related field
- Professional membership (e.g., planning or project management) is an advantage
- Minimum 3 years of experience in project planning or scheduling
- Strong understanding of construction methodologies and contracts in the Philippines
- Experience in planning systems such as Primavera P6, Asta Powerproject, or Tilos
- Knowledge of risk management, stakeholder engagement, and conflict resolution
