Role Overview

We are looking for a Planning Engineer to support project planning and scheduling activities across our projects. This role ensures accurate and efficient planning to drive timely project delivery while minimizing time-related risks.

Key Responsibilities

Pre-Construction Planning

  • Collaborate with Business Development, Estimating, and Precontracts teams
  • Develop project schedules and timelines based on resources and project requirements
  • Optimize construction plans using efficient methodologies and tools
  • Identify and assess risks and opportunities related to project timelines 

Project Monitoring & Problem Resolution

  • Monitor project progress and identify schedule deviations
  • Develop mitigation strategies and revised timelines
  • Coordinate with project teams and commercial stakeholders
  • Support claims and identify delay or disruption events
  • Engage clients, suppliers, and subcontractors on timeline adjustments 

Stakeholder Management

  • Maintain strong communication with internal teams and external stakeholders
  • Anticipate client needs and identify potential risks early 

Team Collaboration

  • Communicate issues effectively within the team
  • Support continuous improvement in planning practices

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Building Engineering, or related field
  • Professional membership (e.g., planning or project management) is an advantage
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in project planning or scheduling
  • Strong understanding of construction methodologies and contracts in the Philippines
  • Experience in planning systems such as Primavera P6, Asta Powerproject, or Tilos
  • Knowledge of risk management, stakeholder engagement, and conflict resolution
