Key accountabilities:

1. To organize the mechanical, electrical, and plumbing works to which he has been assigned in order to ensure that targets are achieved
2. To organize and develop the assigned subordinates in order to optimize workable time in MEP installation.
3. To develop continuous improvement and optimization activities in order to ensure optimum efficiencies in ongoing basis.
4. To ensure sufficient competent technical resources are available in order to effectively perform MEP installation activities.
5. To interact with MEP design team to ensure timely delivery of design details in order to ensure that provision of design information does not delay MEP installation.
6. To interact with project engineer on project progress and to provide development support in order to ensure the project and company objectives are being achieved.
7. To liaise with third party (including local authorities) or client in order to manage relationships, concerns and issues.
8. To interact with survey department to carry out survey ahead of MEP installation in order to allow MEP installation to proceed as scheduled.
9. To enforce safe and environmentally friendly working procedures in order to ensure the excellent safety record and encourage employee participation in health and safety matters in order to comply with statutory requirements and HSE expectation.
10. To consolidate reports in order to ensure the accurate presentation of daily, weekly and monthly reports.
11. To perform knowledge sharing in order to enhance the professional development within the organization.

Requirements:

• Degree in civil/mechanical/electrical engineering or related disciplines
• Deep knowledge upon practical application of civil (earthwork) construction & safety legal requirements
• 8++ years' experience in civil/construction
• Have extensive experience in MEP installation works with a capability in monitoring direct staff and subcontractors
• Experience in managing operational and technical role in the construction industry.
• Experience working at civil contractor is preferred.
• Intermediate skills on MS-Word, Excel and PowerPoint
• Strong quantitative and numeric skills
• Intermediate knowledge of MEP design software/hardware skills
• Basic skills on project management software
• Intermediate knowledge of civil operation regulatory requirement
• Industry best practice
