About the Role

As our next Tyre Fitter reporting to the Tyre Supervisor, you will work collaboratively towards delivering high-quality solutions and results.
The Mount Pleasant Operations is situated 5km outside of Muswellbrook in the Picturesque Hunter Valley. These are permanent positions and you will work an even time rotating 4/5, 5/4, 5/5 consisting of days and nights, 12 hour shifts.
As a Tyre Fitter, you will:
  • Remove and fit rims and wheel assemblies on heavy earthmoving mining equipment as required.
  • Remove, repair and refit tyres and wheel assemblies on heavy earthmoving mining equipment as required.
  • Perform regular tyre inflation pressure checks and adjustments.
  • Source technical information from available reference manuals, technical bulletins, and computer-based systems.
  • Initiate actions to prevent the occurrence of equipment non-conformance, identify and record any equipment quality problems, initiate, recommend, or provide solutions through designated channels.
  • Be able to work in accordance with the site's policies and procedures.

 

About You

To be considered for this role you are required to have,
  • Cert 2 - Automotive Tyre Service Technology AUR21920 OR aur21916.
  • Minimum of two years' experience working as a Tyre Fitter.
  • HR drivers licence preferable.
  • Post-trade experience working in the mining and heavy earthmoving industry, or hydraulic excavator industry.
