About The Role 

As our next Asset Specialist, based in our Brisbane head office, you will support Australian operations in the development and submission of long-term maintenance plans. This role will work collaboratively towards delivering high-quality solutions and results for our projects.  

Key responsibilities include:

  • Develop, communicate, and maintain long term maintenance plans in collaboration with site teams, OEMs, and key suppliers
  • Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to support timely and cost-effective component supply
  • Ensure assets are maintained in accordance with approved asset strategies to achieve planned life and reliability targets
  • Prepare and submit maintenance plans for approval and manage components in line with business expectations
  • Ensure the JDE maintenance system is used effectively, with accurate and complete maintenance records maintained
  • Identify and deliver planning, technology, asset strategy or project-based improvements that enhance maintenance quality or efficiency, reduce costs, or improve asset reliability

About You  

You will have a clear understanding of the whole of life asset strategy and strong stakeholder management skills. 

You will also have;

  • Trade qualification / Engineering degree or equivalent qualifications / experience 
  • Experience in maintenance operations with large mining equipment  
  • Experience in scheduling and planning maintenance activities for large mining equipment 
  • Proficient in MS Office suite  
  • Competent in the use of Computerised Maintenance Management System
  • Effective communication skills
