About the role

Located in the Shire of Yilgarn, on a 14/7 DIDO roster, you will thrive on meeting all goals and challenges, and act with fairness and integrity in all that you do.

Yilgarn Iron Ore Project includes the sites of Koolyanobbing, Windarling and Parker Range. The Yilgarn region has a long history of iron ore mining and is located in the Shires or Yilgarn and Menzies with ore being railed to Esperance Port for export. The productive mining areas are located on the land of the Marlinyu Ghoorlie Native Title Group.

In this role, you will:

• Collect samples from ore bodies, stockpiles, drill cuttings, conveyor belts, or processing circuits.
• Ensure each sample is representative of the larger material volume.
• Prepare and reduce samples to the correct size for laboratory testing.
• Maintain accurate documentation and follows strict sampling protocols.
• Help geologists, metallurgists, and production teams make informed decisions. 

About you

To be considered for these opportunities you are required to have:

• Current Dangerous Goods Security Card
• Experience in a production mining open pit environment in a similar position
• Highly motivated and the ability to work independently.
• Have a “Can Do” attitude to safety.
• Current WA drivers’ licence
