We are currently seeking a motivated and safety-focused Warehouse Officer to join our Maintenance team at the Mount Pleasant Operation (MPO) near Muswellbrook, NSW.

 
About the Role
 
As a Warehouse Officer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the efficient operation of our maintenance warehouse. You will be responsible for the receiving, storage, issuing, dispatch, and administration of inventory and materials required to support our mining fleet and operational teams.

Working within a high-performing team environment, you will contribute to maintaining inventory accuracy, supporting planned maintenance activities, and ensuring excellent service delivery to internal stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

· Safely receive, store, issue, and dispatch goods and materials.

· Maintain inventory accuracy through cycle counts, stocktakes, and auditing activities.

· Process warehouse transactions accurately using JDE and warehouse management systems.

· Coordinate inbound and outbound freight activities.

· Support maintenance teams by ensuring parts are picked, staged, and available for planned work.

· Manage APWF, GRNV, open purchase orders, and other warehouse housekeeping activities.

· Conduct warehouse inspections and maintain a clean, organised, and safe work environment.

· Ensure hazardous and dangerous goods are managed in accordance with site requirements and Safety Data Sheets.

· Participate in safety observations, risk assessments, and continuous improvement initiatives.

· Provide outstanding customer service to internal stakeholders across Maintenance and Mining departments.

About YouTo be successful in this role, you will possess:

· Previous experience in a warehouse, logistics, or stores environment, preferably within mining, heavy industry, or maintenance operations.

· Strong commitment to safety and environmental compliance.

· Experience using ERP systems such as JDE or similar inventory management systems.

· High level of accuracy and attention to detail.

· Strong organisational and time management skills.

· Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

· Effective communication and stakeholder engagement skills.

· Current Forklift Licence (essential or highly desirable).

· Current Driver's Licence.
