The Project

McConnell Dowell and CPB Contractors, along with Design partners Mott McDonald, Arup and Aurecon have been awarded the Tram Grade Separation Projects as an Alliance, comprising of works at three main locations along the Glenelg Tram Line. The purpose of the Tram Grade Separation Project is to improve the safety and efficiency of the major north south corridors to the west of the city by removing and improving the Glenelg Tram Road crossings. 

The existing overpass at South Road will be replaced in order to facilitate the construction of the T2D Project. The level crossings at Marion Road and Cross Road will be removed and replaced with an overpass, and Morphett Road level crossing will also be replaced by tram overpasses removing the interface with road traffic and creating new public spaces beneath.

These positions are based at one of three project sites, metro-Adelaide, south of the CBD, to support the project operations team in a construction environment. Staff with experience on Rail, Roads and Structures projects in particular are welcomed to apply.
