Myer is looking for a People & Capability Coordinator on a 6 month contract to support the coordination and administration of capability programs and People & Safety initiatives. This role is responsible for ensuring smooth delivery of development programs, maintaining accurate records and supporting key projects that build team capability across the business. With a focus on operational support and stakeholder coordination, the People & Capability Coordinator plays a vital role in strengthening a culture of continuous learning and supporting the rollout of strategic people initiatives.

About the role:

  • Plan, schedule, coordinate and diarise all capability initiatives and programs – including facilitators and resources
  • Partner with key stakeholders and co-facilitators to deliver the Capability plan of programs
  • Communicate timelines and collaborate with various business stakeholders including within HR systems, various business functions including Merchandise and Retail Ops, and externals to deliver Capability initiatives
  • Reports effectively and regularly on project progress to line manager and key stakeholders
  • Ad hoc responsibilities as required

About you:

  • A minimum of 3 years experience in an administrative role
  • 1-2 years experience in People & Capability role (while desirable not essential)
  • A passion for people, their development and their employee experience
  • Previous experience monitoring and managing multiple inboxes
  • Super organised with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple pieces of work simultaneously
  • Actively asks questions and challenges the status quo
  • Collaborates well with others
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence upwards and outwards
  • Microsoft Office 365 literate
  • Tech savvy and keen to explore digital ways to make current processes more effective
