MYER is looking for a Supply Chain System Support Manager, to support the Supply Chain operations team in delivering outstanding results by managing and optimising key operational technologies and systems including the Warehouse Management systems (WMS) and Robotics management Systems (RMS) within all DCs for the Myer Group Nationally.  Supporting on time and accurate online fulfilment and store replenishment by managing the throughput volume & inventory control within the WMS and RMS. You will ensure that all systems, technologies, and interfaces are managed and maintained to the highest level and in accordance with national standards and processes. You’ll also support all other technology functions on site, eg inbound bookings systems, PLC controllers, carrier integration.

About the role:

  • Systems Management. Ensuring all systems are performing to task and within productivity rates set by the vendor. Escalating any early issues to the RMS and WMS vendor for support and investigation.  Working with the wider IT teams to support updates and enhancements.
  • Geek+ and WMS Automation SME. To be fully competent is all automation systems on site, responsible for setting up automation contingency plans and BCP.
  • Systems and workflow planning. Ensuring the system is set up in accordance with outbound dispatch dates and times, working with the Automation specialist to set desired targets.
  • DC order flow.  Setting up profiles according to dispatch and seal times. Daily and weekly monitoring and reporting to be provided to DC operations teams.
  • Systems training development. Develop key training programs for area supervisors and coordinators to support the daily DC operation.
  • Inventory control. Developing procedures for day-to-day inventory control to minimise short picked orders. Developing a targeted cycle counting program. Provide reporting back to the operations team.
  • Inventory stock flow and slotting. Managing master data UoM, DC putaway and replenishment strategy rules within UCS for both manual zone and automated zone.
  • Inventory Promo planning. Ensuring all promotional SKUs during peak season are dynamically set according to forecasted sales.
  • Data analytics and reporting. Extracting data from the system to support the building of KPIs for the operations team to use, also for the use of live reporting and health check and daily/weekly/month dashboards.
  • Team collaboration. Building a strong cross functional systems and inventory team which includes succession planning.

 

About you:

  • Demonstrated experience with systems implementations in an automated DC
  • Experienced leader within DC environment with a systems background
  • Experience with managing WMS and RMS systems within a fast passed DC environment
  • Managing vendors to agreed SLA’s.
  • High analytical and problem-solving experience within an automated environment essential.
  • Demonstrated ability to build reports from system data, eg Power BI
  • Strong Systems reporting particularly WMS and SQL.
  • Demonstrated ability to work with new automated technology setting up all systems.
  • Minimum 7 years’ experience within a DC systems/automation role.
  • Supply Chain tertiary qualifications highly desired.
