As a Procurement Analyst for Myer, you will play a supporting role to the function of three Procurement Managers who are responsible for sourcing and negotiating all non-merchandise products and services for the Myer support office and stores. You will assist in the general event management, analysis and be a natural with stakeholder communications.
About the role:
- Support Procurement Event outcomes
- Procurement Event commercial and financial analysis
- Procurement Reporting and spend profile analysis
- Execution of continuous improvement initiatives across existing Procurement Team workflows
- General Procurement Team analytical support
- Assist with RFP documentation building
About you:
- Previous experience in a similar Procurement role or as a Financial Analyst
- Understanding of Power BI reporting
- Proficiency with Excel and MicroStrategy
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proactive and ability to influence stakeholders
- Embraces change with an open mind, and maintains a positive attitude during times of change
- Works effectively even when faced with disruption and uncertainty
- Organised with strong time management skills and ability to prioritise
- Use effective strategies to stay calm and composed under pressure
- Able to identify key internal and external stakeholders for each procurement events, and how best to engage with them to achieve desired results
- Form strong relationships with immediate team and network
- Flexible, open minded to ideas, opinions, and different ways of analysing results
- Being a team player, able to get involved in team events
