As a Procurement Analyst for Myer, you will play a supporting role to the function of three Procurement Managers who are responsible for sourcing and negotiating all non-merchandise products and services for the Myer support office and stores. You will assist in the general event management, analysis and be a natural with stakeholder communications.

About the role:

  • Support Procurement Event outcomes
  • Procurement Event commercial and financial analysis
  • Procurement Reporting and spend profile analysis
  • Execution of continuous improvement initiatives across existing Procurement Team workflows
  • General Procurement Team analytical support
  • Assist with RFP documentation building

About you:

  • Previous experience in a similar Procurement role or as a Financial Analyst
  • Understanding of Power BI reporting
  • Proficiency with Excel and MicroStrategy
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proactive and ability to influence stakeholders
  • Embraces change with an open mind, and maintains a positive attitude during times of change
  • Works effectively even when faced with disruption and uncertainty
  • Organised with strong time management skills and ability to prioritise
  • Use effective strategies to stay calm and composed under pressure
  • Able to identify key internal and external stakeholders for each procurement events, and how best to engage with them to achieve desired results
  • Form strong relationships with immediate team and network
  • Flexible, open minded to ideas, opinions, and different ways of analysing results
  • Being a team player, able to get involved in team events
