The Marketing Team is seeking a Traffic Manager who is responsible for managing the end-to-end workflow across the publishing model owning brief intake, prioritisation, scheduling and resource coordination to ensure every piece of content moves through the pipeline on time and to the required standard. The Traffic Manager has deep visibility of capacity, priorities and cross-functional dependencies across Social, Influencer Marketing and Production.

Reporting to the Head of Content & Production, this role is a critical enabler of the team’s ability to operate at scale acting as the central coordination point between internal stakeholders, content teams and external production partners.

About the role:

  • Own the end-to-end brief intake process across content, social, creative and production ensuring all incoming requests are properly scoped, formatted and prioritised before being assigned to the team.
  • Build and maintain the master production schedule, ensuring all jobs are tracked, prioritised and resourced in line with campaign timelines, trade priorities and always-on publishing requirements.
  • Coordinate the movement of briefs, assets and approvals between creative, editorial, social, influencer and category teams, maintaining momentum across all active workstreams.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for internal stakeholders; Category Marketing, eCommerce, CRM and Retail Media seeking to commission content from the team.
  • Maintain an up-to-date view of team capacity across the Content & Production function, including Social, Influencer Marketing and Production workstreams.
  • Support the Head of Content & Production in planning resourcing requirements for campaigns, peak trading periods, key tentpole events and new publishing initiatives.
  • Coordinate the approvals process across all content, ensuring the right stakeholders review and sign off at the right stages of production.
  • Own the day-to-day administration of the team’s project management and workflow platforms, ensuring all team members are using systems consistently and accurately.
  • Provide regular production status updates to the Head of Content & Production and key stakeholders, maintaining clear visibility of pipeline progress, risks and delivery status.
  • Prepare workflow and capacity reports that support planning conversations with the Head of Content & Production and the broader Marketing leadership group.

 

About you:

  • 6+ years in a traffic management, production management, or project management role within an in-house marketing team, creative agency or media organisation.
  • Proven experience managing complex, multi-workstream production schedules in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Experience working within a content or creative team with an understanding of the end-to-end production process for digital and social content.
  • Exceptional organisational and time management skills, with strong attention to detail and process discipline.
  • Proficiency in project management and workflow tools.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, able to manage expectations, negotiate timelines, and build trust across the team.
  • Understanding of content production for digital and social media channels, including typical asset requirements and lead times
