The People & Safety team is seeking a Receptionist/Concierge to be the welcoming face of MyerGroup’s new Store Support Office in South Melbourne. Our receptionist will play a key role in supporting the teams of Myer and Apparel Brands as they come together in the combined office.
As the first-person people see when they walk through the door, you will warmly welcome visitors and team members and bring our workplace to life through outstanding service. You'll also play a key role in ensuring our facilities are safe and seamless, helping to create an environment where people can do their best work and feel connected.
About the role:
Reporting to the Workplace Experience Manager, you will manage the day-to-day operation of the concierge desk including:
- Creating a professional first impression for all visitors, contractors and suppliers.
- Managing visitor arrivals and departures through visitor management systems, and making their visit memorable by ensuring reception, visitor and lobby areas are consistently presented to a high standard
- Providing clear directions, wayfinding support and general assistance to ensure a seamless onsite experience
- Administering access passes, carparking and lockers ensuring compliance with security requirements.
- Supporting the broader Workplace Experience team in delivering an exceptional experience to team members as required, including assisting in the mail room and with other activities as needed.
About you:
- Previous experience in a corporate reception, concierge, customer service, or front-of-house role
- Experience supporting access management, parking administration, onboarding activities or other workplace operations, and associated technology, is advantageous.
- Exceptional customer service skills with a warm, professional and approachable manner, including the ability to interact effectively with a diverse range of stakeholders.
- Highly organised with the ability to manage competing priorities, maintain attention to detail and be solutions-focused in a fast paced environment.
- Ability to work independently, exercise sound judgement and take ownership of day-to-day responsibilities.
- Commitment to maintaining high standards of presentation, safety, security and workplace experience.
