What does the job look like?

As an Accounts Officer – Insurance at Linfox, you will play a vital role in ensuring the accurate and timely processing of insurance claims payments and receivables. You will be at the centre of our claims lifecycle, collaborating with both internal teams and external partners to deliver seamless financial operations.   • Manage payments for insurance claims, including repairers, assessors, third parties, and hire car companies
  • Co-ordinate with Claims Officers and Accounts Payable to ensure claims are closed accurately
  • Resolve outstanding payment matters and discrepancies efficiently
  • Process and reconcile payments in SAP and the Zurich Legacy System
  • Review and upload weekly XML updates to maintain accurate financial records
  • Notify business units of significant claim payment changes
  • Manage end-to-end Claim Receivables (AR) process within the Insurance Claims Management system and SAP, collaborating with the Insurance Claims Team, Claims Officers, AR and Master Data staff
  • Ensure claims are closed properly once all receivables are finalised in collaboration with Claims Officers and AR

Are you the one?

You are detail-oriented and thrive in a fast-paced, commercial environment. You bring a proactive approach to problem-solving and are ready to take the next step in your accounting or insurance career. You can demonstrate:

  • Experience in accounts payable, claims processing, or insurance accounts
  • Familiarity with SAP or similar financial management systems
  • Ability to manage multiple payment transactions and resolve discrepancies
  • Understanding of insurance claims processes and payment cycles, including AR management
  • Experience with legacy systems such as Zurich (highly regarded)
  • Tertiary qualifications in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (desirable)
